I just checked this in a Feisty alternate install CD, and it worked
fine, so I'm assuming that this was sorted out by the console
reorganisations in Edgy. Note that the keyboard selected in the
bootloader will not be active until a couple of steps into the installer
(but still before you actually need to type anything other than cursor
keys, tab, and enter).
