  The display isn't centered. I can see the whole desktop, but the display
  is about 1cm too much in the right. In Windows the disppplay is
  centered, so this bug is related to Ubuntu. This bug happened after the
  upgrage from Hardy to Intrepid. I'm using nVidia RIVA TNT2 Model 64 Pro.
  
  My screen resolution is set to  800*...@85hz with System>Settings>Screen
  resolution. However my monitor's (Compaq MV740) OSD  says "user
  mode,V:85Hz ", but it should be "800*600, V:85Hz"
