Current Jaunty testing--all upgrades as of 12 Jan 2009---I am at work
right now, so can't give system info for about 5 hours from now.
Trying to boot from EXT4 partition (grub>find /boot/grub/stage1----
grub>root (hd2,1)---grub>setup (hd2) )...will result in a grub prompt at
reboot, while changing root--setup to a EXT3 partition will do a normal
boot--this is using the installed grub from the Jaunty install.
Thanks for the fast respond Colin--please E me with any other info
needs.
