I can confirm this; I've got a Dell USB keyboard with the alternate
installer displaying the exact same behaivior. The bootloader works
fine, but once the alternate installer loads, I am unable to use the
keyboard. This is on the latest daily builds of ubuntu and ubuntu
studio. Pretty frustrating because I've got to use the alternate
installer for my Intel software RAID setup.
