with ATI AGP the problem is compiz disable visual effects & video & 3d games
work no flickering
useing old Nvidia 5700 fx AGP i don't have to disable effects it works
i will keep useing the ati and hope i can fix the problem with compiz

Also does anyone know how to keep a file in root from getting over written when
reboot

what all executable extensions are there in linux like .bin .run ........
or where can i find out it would help i know u can make a file executable in
permissions but i want to know file extensions like windows .bat .exe
.........but for linux commands in a windows batch file kind of way ?? do u
