I have never seen this before. You can try the following:
1. install scim-bridge-client-gtk and all its dependencies 2. make sure you enabled complex character support for your language in language-selector 3. log out to activate your changes 4. after log in open a terminal and issue the following command: im-switch -l It should report 'scim-bridge' as being used. If it doesn't: im-switch -s scim-bridge Please report back if this helps. -- SCIM eats CPU https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/315027 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
