Yeah Youre sorry Eagle, but you didnt answer the most simple things,
perhaps you find it elemental, but note that Im using Linux-Kubuntu ONLY
from August 2008. Perhaps I dont have time/feel like to learn the
basics. I was so busy and tired of Windows bugs and to ask for help in
english (as you noted Im spanish) that I changed to Linux thinking there
dont happen. Altough removing Windows XP (yes its wrong and ugly talk of
ite here) virus is simple (not adware), seemed like last yeaar I did a
Windows registry cleaning (Thank Godness, or Saint Stallman..that Linux
dont have !) and I ruined the registry. I think that was the reason for
everytime I click on an icon all dissapear (sys tray) and restart, I
think cse I dont know cause anybody in Avast said me the reason, perhaps
I didnt find well, but Im tired again...

Well and what this have to do with this problem?, okok, when Windows XP
(and I swear that I HATE to mention this name, Furthermore here) crashed
it dont have any tool to report the BIG BUG, so I have to sort out my
life in the Interminable (or Neverending?I dont know the difference...)
INTERNET, making find the solution a hard work, not to mention post a
message in Micro$oft forums...But with Kubuntu, KDE bug system
management this is more simple and easy to find a solution ! This is the
1st time I post to ask for help in Linux (many other things I resolved
for myself last year during installlation) and youre the 1st person to
answer me. And though you didnt answer me all the basic things I
discover it and inform me from myself. And I do it cause I LOVE FREE
SOFTWARE AND ALL RELATED. Without this love and enthusiasm (the same all
free-contributor, and same I feel for other scienc)es) and the help of
Wikipedia and Wordreference (for translations) I cant do things so basic
as put a ~ (thanks to Wiki, in my keyboard dont appear and has to be
typed with AltGr+4) and even understand computing terms of bug, debug,
debugger, backtrace, SIGSEGV and more...So although In the beggining I
was a bit dissappointed and confused for all that bugs-find solution
then I think perhaps (again) you wnt to I find the maximum of answers
from myself and (,as Morpheus to Neo), show the gates (links) to I find
more of them...So I appreciate that and thank you (and while I'm at it
to ALL CONTRIBUTORS OF FREE SOFTWARE HERE AND IN THE WORLD) for the
help, so please Eagle, dont apologize youself, Im ashamed...Your a
master for me (the 1st in Linux), and a master never (or almost) have to
apologize..sure youre doing a great job, but anybody is GOD or perfect
so Come on! Keep doing good like that!

So after all of this (I know that is not the place but I really need to
say it for 1st time) and descend to Earth, regarding to this BUG, Ill
say that at last I found that f...errrr file! I didnt know that Linux
(like Winbugs) have HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS! Probably cause I didnt see
them..hehe. So I learnt (stepbystep) how to put ~ first and then how to
make visible those files and appeared! (in fact when then I realised
that I can copypaste all the location, but I want to learn from basics,
and hidden files appeared too). I deleted it, restart (close sesion) and
the VOILA! THATS MY DESKTOP AGAIN ! SO THANKS AGAIN, EAGLE MY SAVIOR !

Although it took me more than 10 days to fin the solution (I posted my
1st Linux ask post the 1st day of the year) Im happy to all of said
above, for baing less ignorant writing english (yah i know that Its a
long time to speech well, it tooks me more than hour to write this),
knowing computer operation? and find (with your help ofcourse) the
solution of the problem. But I continue to learn (now more motivated)
and Ill visit the links you gave me for search for more complete help.
In this forums there arre DOCUMENTATION ABOUT KUBUNTU AND LINUX IN
GENERAL ? I hope that at last ONE of them can be in SPANISH...or I
search Saint Google...
