I confirm this happens with me on Ubuntu 8.10. My steps to duplicate
this were to create a test.odt file in open office wordproccessor. I
then went to nautilus to view the .odt file when I right click the
option fot Create Archive is missing, If I right click on the .pdf file
right next to it the option for Create Archive... is present.
You can open file-roller and archive it that way or buy uzing the
terminal and entering the following:
zip testfile.zip test.odt <---- exmaple only subsitute your file name
and desired saved zip file name.
The .odt file must not be an available/included extension for the Create
Archive option to appear Nautilus.
** Changed in: nautilus-actions (Ubuntu)
Sourcepackagename: None => nautilus-actions
Status: New => Confirmed
