Yes, I just tried creating the same macros using the record function with the same results. Has anything been done to correct the 'bug' in the record function ?

Do you still have this problem with the new version of OOo in the ppa at https://launchpad.net/~openoffice-pkgs/+archive ? ** Changed in: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- 'Record Macro' in Calc does not update/copy routine data as needed in Hardy. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/307338 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. Status in “openoffice.org” source package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Binary package hint: openoffice.org When I try to create a macros using the 'Record Macros' routine in Open Office Calc using Hardy 8.04.1, the program moves through the steps or commands as dictated without updating or changing the obsolete data. I am able to perform the task in a manual exercise daily during a standard 50 step process. There is no error message. Just a failure to preform the function. That's why it would be really nice to see this bug go away. I have included a copy of my spreadsheet along with tabs for data & the printout for the macros=2 0as performed by 'Record Macros' function.
