Yes, I think after looking at some of the posts there that the issue is the same. And I agree with respect to your comments on the other thread that it's not a conflict with Bluetooth, since I don't have any Bluetooth devices in this system.
I have tried LBM packages going back to just after Intrepid was released until last week, and the problem has always persisted, so it's through all the Intrepid kernels. Also, I installed the 2.6.28 Jaunty kernel on this Intrepid system and booted it. The problem persisted.
