Thanks for reporting this. It is impossible to diagnose the problem
without some more information. Can you please attempt to reproduce the
crash and then attach /var/log/installer/syslog, /var/log/syslog, and
/var/log/partman to this bug, by commenting on the bug's web page?
(/var/log/installer/syslog only exists on Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper)
