Ubuntu better, but unfortunately I've been unable to reproduce your
issue on Ubuntu 8.10. Can you reproduce this issue with an Ubuntu LIVE
CD and report back if the problem still exists on Ubuntu 8.10 LIVE CD?
Also, could you please add the /var/log/syslog to your bug report as an
attachment? Also you can submit more information for it by looking to
