Public bug reported:

When I shut down the machine or give it a reboot, a flashing cursor remains and
poweroff or reboot never happens.
I'm using an MSI Wind U100 with 2Gig Ram and Ubuntu Jaunty installed from a USB
stick made from the alternate alpha2 iso. It's installed on LVM.

1) Jaunty
2) I dont' know which package is causing this. (kernel/acpi?)
3) I expected the reboot/poweroff to happen
4) All I got was a flashing cursor in the upper-left corner.

Below is some additional info.

Thanks for your help!!
Ger.
