Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: pm-utils
I try to suspend my new computer via pm-suspend without quirks (no effect..).
Suspend works, but resume does not. On the one hand the screen is still blank
(this is an other problem i gues..), on the other i can't ping the pc anymore.
Its an Asrock board with Nvidia Geforce 8200 Chipset (forcedeth module.)
I tried SUSPEND_MODULES="$SUSPEND_MODULES forcedeth" what does no help.
The only thing happening is that my WOL does not work then anymore.
I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 with all updates and pm-utils 1.1.2.4 until 1.2.3
(installed in manually).
Several scripts/commands did not work (eg. manual reload, networking
reload, and so on) and in the description is written down something like
"if pm-utils don't work with default settings, its a bug", and because
of that im posting here.
Here is the relevant part from pm-suspend.log:

No DHCPOFFERS received.
No working leases in persistent database - sleeping.
Of course i tried static IPs, but ping does not work (except pingin localhost)
, too.
I don't need to set up any manual routes or something, right?
My config does work, if i boot the PC "normal", this only happens when
resuming.
