** Description changed: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-joystick After being advised in bug #274203 to report a bug for each joypad which is being detected by X as a mouse, my USB Mad Catz controller since testing the Intrepid Beta is now being detected as a mouse when hot- plugged. The joypad used to work fine in Hardy. My joypad is detected as a one button mouse, whereas the analogue stick moves the cursor (and at times, cause the cursor to reposition to the center of the screen immediately. The consequences of this is that I can no longer play any games with my joypad (difficult with one or two games I have) or leave it plugged in whilst I am using other applications on the computer. The KDE Joystick module in system settings sees my joypad but cannot detect any movement on the analogue sticks or button presses. As per a fix due to bug #274203, my joypad no longer crashes X. + [lspci] + 00:00.0 Host bridge [0600]: nVidia Corporation C55 Host Bridge [10de:03a3] (rev a2) + Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.
