** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati

  Integrated ATI Radeon X1250-based graphics.

Low resolution after upgrading from Hardy and only with ati an
acceptable picture. It is however impossible to play movies: totem, vlc
and xine just vanish when I try that. Of course GoogleEarth is a useless
mess, but it doesn't vanish as it used to in Hardy without the fglrx
  driver.

I thought we had to wait for the fglrx driver, but from -ati status |
infinite knots I infer that ati is supposed to be the solution.
