Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
Hi.
I am on ubuntu 9.04 amd64. (but I remember this bug also happened on 8.10)
This is what I did : I connected Nautilus to a FTP (ftperso.free.fr)
I right click on a file and copy it on my desktop.
-> the copy operation window stay opened and is hanging.
-> If I click on the stop button, the button becomes disabled but
nothing happens, the transfert is not canceled.
For now, the file operation window is hanging for 10 minutes.
What I know is that on ftpperso.free.fr, only one or two connections are
allowed per user at the same time (I am not sure).
I think there is 2 thingst to investigate : Perhaps no timeout has been
configured on ftp operations ?
The thread which connect to the server cannot be interrupted by the Thread UI ?
I am not sure is this problem is from nautilus or gvfs. On which sources
should I take a look ?
** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
