Since the software provided by slimdevices is not in the ubuntu
repositories and not supported, I am rejecting this bug. I am sorry if
this dissappoints you, but this is one of many ways to keep the bug
garden trim.
To address your issue better, I would suggest discussing it with the
slimdevices folks who, besides being responsible for the software seem
to be a cool bunch of folks.
