** Description changed: + Fixed in OOo 3.1 + + == + Binary package hint: openoffice.org-impress 1) I open a .ppt presentation from my school website 2) ppt is made by professor, most probably in microsoft 3) when I switch to notes view, the slide is squeezed vertically.... 4) I try to repair this by: view-->master-->notes master When I click on notes master it crashes. I can recover the ppt file when i restart Impress. This does not happen on new impress documents. However, all the ppts I download from my school site have note pages with the slide SQUEEZED, so I have to resize them. Until now, I did this for every .ppt, but now trying to access the notes master crashes Impress. This only began to happen after I upgraded to latest kernel to .24-21 I have OOO 2.4.1 installed on Ubuntu 8.04.
