Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-libertine

The Jaunty-version of linux-libertine aka ttf-linux-libertine includes
the OTF-variant of the font, where Hardy LTS had included the non-otf-
variant. They have different names ("Linux Libertine" and "Linux
Libertine O") to be installed alongside.

Upgrading from Hardy to Jaunty breaks all documents using "Linux
Libertine". Espacially XeTeX/XeLaTeX brings up misleading error
messages.

Please include the .ttf files for both variants. Maybe this may also be
fixed with some Font-Alias. XeTeX/XeLaTeX uses ICU and loads fonts by
X11-mechanisms.

If this doesn't get fixed for Intrepid or Jaunty, it should be targeted
at least for the next LTS.

** Affects: linux-libertine (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
