Public bug reported:
I have no sound at all in 9.04, 64bit alpha 3, outside of system sounds.
There is no way of adjusting the sound as there is no 'sound' item in
the drop box under System --> Preferences --> Sound (normally that's
where sound is). The speaker symbol is in the upper task bar and is set
at 83%, increasing it to 100% does not change the situation. Output of
lspci | grep -i audio is attached. Please contact if there is anything
else you need.
