This works for me. Sounds like a temporary network glitch, or you might
have become a victim of the "blob" upload bug that Launchpad had until
last Friday. I close this for now. If you can replicate it still, please
reopen.
BTW, it is much easier to achieve the same with "ubuntu-bug linux".
