Hi Watson, I am installing ubuntu 8.10 version. I have received the message that uduntu installation completed . I couldn't find anything indicating that the installation has failed. I have formated my machine once again in windows vista and removed all the files in ext3 and hence I can't provide you the log files.I am so sorry
