Dan, Thanks very much for trying to help me with this... Unfortunately, I was never successful in getting Ubuntu installed because of this problem. As for your request for more information, I'm not sure what you would like me to provide. I could re-post the same details in the other forum if you like. If you have specific questions I'd be happy to run diagnostics or provide more details in some other way. Please advise. Thanks!
