I install from the .deb on OO.org website. For some reason the repo
version gives me a couple problems (poor desktop integration and doesn't
give me the new menu that OOo3 has which I like). So I'm using version:

3.0.0 from the website (says OO300M9)

It's weird because when I do the Proper() of a cell with a number and
then I copy that cell and special paste all but the formula (don't want
the formula) it comes up with '1

Not sure if this is the Proper () that is doing it or the special paste
without the formula. For an example:

just type 1 in a cell

cell to the right do Proper(Cell above)

Then copy and special paste that to another cell with everything checked
other than formula.
