I have only seen the problem with ".m4b"-files, but it is sure to happen every time, also using different files(still .m4b).
I am not sure what you mean by an example, but it happens whenever I pause a ".m4b"-file: the timer shift from 2:34(actual time) to like 18:13(some odd wrong time) and when played it will jump back to 2:34 and play the file as if nothing happened. so this is not really a problem, but is still annoying that you can not see the actual time when pause, but some wrong time.
