Ubuntu ver. 6.10 Firefox ver. 2.00 Gnome ver 2.16.1 Most likely the issue is more related to my computer than to code. It's a PC that was cannibalized from two nonworking PCs. The issues most likely are there so don't give this too high a priority. Thank you for your time though.
