Hey Leann, Sorry for the delay but i just got home a little while ago. I booted Jaunty from live cd and had the same sound issue (could only hear sound if i put my ear directly on the speaker and listened very closely). I also wiped the box clean and installed Jaunty. Still had the same sound issues. I also had no internet with this version? could connect the router fine but could not load any web pages? (just in case you wanted to know.........lol). Anyway, hope you have another option? i reinstalled a fresh version of 8.10 and ran the bash file again just to make sure everything is the same.
