Public bug reported: I have just experienced a bug where Openoffice will install an extension correctly, but it will not show up in the menu bar and its buttons will not show up. I'm installing OpenCards (http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/OpenCards) on a fresh upgrade to OO.o 3.0.1 from https://launchpad.net/~openoffice- pkgs/+archive on Ubuntu 8.10 64-bit.

I can provide more info if needed. And to clarify, the OpenCards extension installs correctly, but the new menu doesn't appear (even after restarting OO.o).
