Confirm this behaviour.
You can watch the button pop in and out of existence as you drag it from
the right screen to the left screen and back again.
The bug seems to be that the window list considers windows on the right
hand side of the virtual desktop to be in a different workspace.
Workaround :
1) You can work around it by configuring the window list applet to show
windows from all workspaces. The downside of this is that ... it shows
windows from all workspaces.
Workaround that doesn't quite work but does provide extra data :
2) Added an extra panel for the right hand screen, on the basis that if
the left hand window list only lists windows from the left screen....
A window list in a panel on the right screen only lists windows
* When their x-center is within the screen, and
* When their x-0 is not.
ie - the applet starts to show the window after it's been half-dragged
onto the screen, but as soon as it's fully visible on the right, it
disappears.
