Thats right, but pressing f11 dont fix at all the bug on the status bar in firefox. I found a fix, first go to system , then preference and then compiz setting manager go there to windows decoration option and unchek restart your pc do the same to go compiz setting manager and check back windows decoration. at the end set your checks as the pic attached, then restart one last time and done. That fix for my switches taps an firefox status bar bugs, I hope this help.
