Tom Sorry I don't use KMail - thunderbird user!! I suggest you try: System settings > Appearance > Style -> Widget Style -> change and apply Then revert I changed in both the icons tab & style tab If that hadn't worked for me I would have rebooted after the first change and before changing back.
