IN DETAIL 1)I set up my evolution client 2)Downloaded mail from this account and gmail and it all came. 3)After download about half my mail disappeared from evolution.(important mail) 4)I checked this account(server)and the same mail was gone. 5)I checked gmail and all my mail was still there 6)Back to evolution and disabled bogo filter plugin. 7)Back to gmail and forwarded missing mail back to this server. 8)Back to evolution and re-downloaded missing mail--with bogo filter disabled) 9)Note-spaam assassin NOT installed. 10)Up to now nothing else has diappeared,so my humble opion is bogo filter was the possible problem. PS:I don't have much use for junk filters and email virus scanners as I have lost a lot of mail in the past.(not evolution)
