I was able to go through both sites using Ubuntu 8.10 with Firefox 3.0.5
(3.0.5+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.10.1) without being able to reproduce your
issue. Please try to deactivate your firefox add-ons or try creating a
new profile by starting firefox from the command:
firefox -ProfileManager
