Similar issue here. U727 recognized under Hardy, not recognized properly under Intrepid. It seems that the USB storage side works well enough, but I get the same sorts of errors and behaviors as two comments up. However, this card used to be supported with the airprime driver. Since the airprime module is now gone, and most of its remnants scattered amongst other drivers, it seems that the U727 should be supported under option.ko. However, option.ko does not recognize this card, so no ttyUSBx ports are created.
This should be a relatively simple fix - add the vendor and product IDs to option.c in the kernel. This may need to be reported upstream. -- Novatel U727 USB Adapter Boot Problem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/284049 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
