Ok, more testing on original user account that would hang and panel disappear..
I added glipper again, when it hung and took 100% of one of my 2 cores, I let it run After about 60 seconds the cpu return to normal. I then had 2 x glipper show up on the panel I deleted one, logged out and back in again. Now all is well and panel does not dissaper on log-in. (It did after aborting (ctl alt backspace) glipper add when cpu goes 100%.) Not sure what to make of it all, but if one lets glipper add run at 100% till he is done, then it works. (This anomaly only shows up on my one login, not the default one) -- gnome-panel freeze when adding glipper (jaunty alpha 3) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/320202 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
