Hi!
Sorry for my weak english ;) I'll try to be clear...
I use mc in screen via ssh sessions.
All time I use it, mc has black areas. Usually it is shown in the editor on
blank lines.
This effect is not shown if I do not use screen.
It was in Ubuntu 8.04 and 8.10 (and before as I remember)
