Another workaround is to delete the following file (backup first): ~/.mozilla/firefox/<PROFILE ID>/localstore.rdf This sets the firefox icons arrangement back to default. Pressing F11 and then mini- and maximizing the window was only a temporary fix for me, so I had it to do this way.
