Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kubuntu-desktop

Using up-to-date Ubuntu intrepid X86.

Fire up the calculator widget from KDE4.2 RC 1 (sorry, unable to
determine the exact package using dpkg) and click on number keys. They
work. Press numbers on keyboard, try numeric keys with numlock, repeat
using USB keyboard - they don't work.

Expected behaviour: Numeric keys accepted as input as per xcalc, kcalc
etc.

Totalling up a list of numbers is a royal pain if you have to click
every one in with a mouse!

** Affects: kubuntu-meta (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
