Your rsync command is incorrect. You'll want to use:
rsync -zhhP rsync://cdimage.ubuntu.com/cdimage/daily-live/current
/jaunty-desktop-i386.iso ~/Desktop/rsync/jaunty-desktop-i386.iso
Notice the addition of "cdimage" after "ubuntu.com".
