Hi Andy, I put the machine to sleep by doing Fn+Esc which is the suspend function on my Dell 600m laptop. This is how I always suspend the machine, and 99% of the time there aren't any problems. Over the years I have seen this behavior pop up once in a blue moon though, but this is the first time it triggered apport. Hope that helps.
