Public bug reported:
When I install new applications, some of them do not appear in the menu of KDE
or Gnome, not even after restarting.
I suppose that it(he,she) will be because it(he) is not indicated in order that
the package should do it on having established itself.
There would be some way of what the system analyze the folders with new
programs?
