Public bug reported:
I had this problem reported in bug #73057 but then I noticed it was already
closed.
The above kernel does not boot, all packages up-to-date (udev 103-0ubuntu4).
Like I said on the other bug's comment, kernel 2.6.17-10 boots fine with the
same packages.
I have my root on software Raid5 but the problem appears to be unrelated to md,
the sata disks are not detected.
