Binary package hint: openoffice.org-writer
Try this:
1. Start OOo writer
2. Start Firefox
3. Go edit a WordPress post in Firefox
4. Go into OOo, create a degree (°) symbol
5. Highlight the °, copy to clipboard (ctrl+c if you like)
6. Paste the ° into your WordPress post (with middle click or ctrl+v)
It won't paste. OOo crashes, then you go run the recovery agent.
Interestingly, you CAN paste into Xchat's text entry box; then copy FROM
Xchat's text entry box; then paste into Firefox fine.
