I just tried with root, on an available crash report I had. It opened LP as file://...
Unfortunately, when I tried on an user crash, I got a pop-up stating libxc1 was obsolete, and apport refused to submit the report (I have just run 'sudo apt-get update). This puts me in a bind, right now: if I install the updated libxcb1, synaptic states it will remove pretty much the WHOLE of Gnome... I will try to find something that does not depend on libxcb. Meanwhile, an user crash I submitted earlier today (i.e., non-root) worked fine, so I guess indeed this is tied to root. -- Apport opens crash files as "file:///" urls https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/315966 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
