Yes, the upgrade process did indeed remove these options from xorg.conf
because historically they'd been needed but with the new hotplug
functionality they aren't, and actually prevent the new -evdev stuff
from working. Unfortunately it didn't distinguish user-provided config
options, but since Intrepid is already released it is not possible to
fix that any more.
