You most likely installed Amarok 2.0 and thus mysql 5.1, which at the
time was not co-installable with mysql 5.0, which akonadi depends on.
The mysqls have since been made to play nice with each other. Actually
neither amarok nor akonadi need a full mysql server anymore.
