Public bug reported:

A few Ubuntu versions ago, when you typed "OCR" into the search field of
Ubuntu's built-in application search catalogue (Anwendungen ->
Hinzufügen/Entfernen), it lead you to Kooka (as far as I remember, or
some other OCR application). Now, when you type in "OCR", this leads you
nowhere. As an average user, I would get the impression that Ubuntu does
not provide any OCR software.

This relates to Ubuntu 8.10, 64-Bit.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
