I suggest closing this pending the introduction of Xen-0 ops in mainline Linux. This is a bug, but backports to fix it are only the tip of the iceberg, unless of course said fixes close several others for that kernel .. but with Xen-0 so close to mainline (xenfs aka /proc/xen/xenbus is now in Linus's .29 branch) its just a waste to revisit.
