I'm having the same exact issue and solved it in the same way by using
11n_disable=1.

Just to add a bit more info, this is not a problem with DHCP.. there is
just a large delay between the time the network is connected and before
the pc can start receiving packets on that connection.  obtaining a DHCP
lease fails because it just happens during that initial phase.

Interestingly enough, outgoing packets are received correctly by the
remote computer across the wifi link, it's just the incoming replies
that do not get through until about a minute or two have passed.
